Karlstad Student Union is an organization that looks after your interests during your studies. Karlstad Student Union works as the students voice towards the university, the local authorities and other organizations that you as a student come in contact with.

Karlstad Student Union also helps you if you have any problems with your studies or your student life in general. You are always welcome to contact us.

Why become a member?

Members in Karlstad Student Union get valuable student discounts. You have to be a member to be able to use the discounts. Members get a orange member card. The member discounts include free entrance to night clubs, cheap course literature and cheap tickets to hockey games, operas and theatres.

How do i become a member?

Visit our reception at the second floor in Studenternas Hus.
(Opening hours: Mon-Thur: 08.00-17.00, Fri: 08.00-14.30)

The membership fee is only 150 SEK per semester

The membership costs 150 SEK per semester and you will receive an invoice to your student email account when you have signed up for a course. Read more about it here.
