When you are registered at Karlstad University, you will receive an electronic invoice to you student email account.

In the mail you will find a link to the web portal medlem.karlstadstudentkar.se, where you can log in and pay the invoice. You can also pay the invoice at our office on the second floor in Studenternas hus,

Hasn't the compulsory student union membership been abolished?

The compulsory membership will be abolished on July 1st 2010. It means that it's compulsory to be a member of a student union and to pay the union fee until the end of spring semester 2010.
